ECOGEHR® PA 11 was developed as long ago as\n1942. It is made 100% from the components of castor oil, and is thus wholly bio-based. ECOGEHR® PA 11 possesses similar properties to PA 12, and an excellent status with respect to applications that require thermal, physical, chemical and mechanical material properties. Good cold impact strength (down to -40 °C), good chemical resistance and low water absorption (only 1/6 in comparison with PA 6) are characteristics of the material.
