Line Bending
Manufactured plastics such as acrylic and polycarbonate can be bent using a process called line bending. This involves heating the thermoplastic sheet over a strip heater until it becomes soft and then bending it to any desired angle. Polycarbonates are particularly ideal for line bending as they are strong and can withstand impact forces without shattering.
